Job Title: Manufacturing Support Associate

Job Description

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Lead, support manufacturing operations to meet strategic department objectives. This role may involve significant sanitation responsibilities initially, with the potential to move into a Cleanroom operator role based on skillset.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cleaning and sanitizing solutions and perform daily, weekly, monthly cleaning of controlled and classified manufacturing areas.

  • Replenish manufacturing components, materials, and supplies in all processing areas.

  • Transport bright stock and finished product to and from staging as required according to the manufacturing schedule.

  • Conform to current good manufacturing practices and good documentation practices and adhere to all safety regulations.

  • Attend and participate in daily shift meetings to communicate events and issues to the manufacturing team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manufacturing management.

Essential Skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in an Operator role heavy in quality control.

  • Experience in Food Manufacturing or Chemical Manufacturing.

  • Sanitation/GMPs: 1-2 years.

  • Material handling: 2-5 years.

  • Mechanically inclined and CNC experience.

  • Ability to wear all provided PPE for cleaning and manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a Cleanroom or pharmaceutical facility.

  • Critical thinking skills to work through complex issues with equipment.

  • Machine Operators with strong tenure and high-level quality control understanding will be considered.

  • Forklift operation, assembly, general labor, quality assurance, machine operating, RF scanner, packing, sanitation, FDA compliance, SOP, laboratory, inspection, food safety, aseptic, food manufacturing, bagging.

Work Environment

2nd and 3rd shift roles in a very clean and sanitized environment. Full PPE and clothing change required prior to shifts, including Tyvek suits, shoe covers, and hair nets. The facility is brand new, climate-controlled, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Friendly management committed to teaching and training employees to become experts in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
