District 19 Community Service Board Emergency Services Clinician Licensed Eligible/Licensed in Petersburg, Virginia
District 19 CSB is seeking a seasoned professional for a full-time Emergency Services Clinician position located in Petersburg, VA.
Essential duties of this position include but are not limited to: crisis screening for civil commitment, brief crisis intervention and counseling, follow-up of hospital and jail/prison discharges, and outpatient therapy. Attendance at civil commitment hearings may be required.
Masters degree in human services or a related field that will lead to licensure as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT, with the Virginia Board of Health Professions, clinical experience providing therapy service to consumers with mental health/substance abuse/co-occurring disorders; ability to make sound clinical decisions under stressful circumstances, Knowledge of VA code as it relates to involuntary commitment, knowledge of assessment and diagnosis of substance abuse and mental health.
This position requires certification as Pre-admission Screening Evaluator within 30 days of hire.

Salary:**
Grade S-C9 for Licensed Eligible. Salary range $57,967.00 - $65,211.00.
Grade S-C10 for Licensed. Salary range $66,048.00 - $77,059.00.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm Crisis services are provided on a 24 hour per day, 7 days per week, shifts may be adjusted depending on coverage needs. May require periodic overnight/weekend shifts.

District 19 Community Service Board is a qualifying employer for public service loan forgiveness (PSLF). PSLF is a federal program available to full-time government and nonprofit employees who have Federal Direct Loans and have made 120 payments on the Federal Direct Loans (after Oct. 1, 2007) may be eligible for the remaining loan balance to be forgiven.
