District 19 Community Service Board ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Manager in Petersburg, Virginia
District 19 Community Services Board is seeking qualified staff to manage the Assertive Community Treatment program. This program is designed to provide an Evidence-Based Practice model of highly coordinated set of services offered and is a self-contained interdisciplinary community-based team of medical, behavioral health, and rehabilitation professionals who use a team approach to meet the needs of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.Supervises staff, interfaces with community organizations, serves on required boards and committees, and provide direct services to ACT consumers as needed. Responsible for the day-to day operations of the ACT program. Pre-admission screening evaluator is hired with knowledge, skills, and abilities to establish a welcoming environment for individual with co-occurring disorders and performing hopeful engagement and integrated screening and assessment.This team leader/manager must be an LMHP (LCSW or LPC) and have at least three years experience in the provision of mental health services to adults with serious mental illness. The team leader/manager shall oversee all aspects of team operations and shall provide direct services to individuals in the community.Applicant must be able to conduct comprehensive and service specific needs assessments. Providing oversight and direct supervision of staff. Ensure compliance with regulations, etc.Provide crisis intervention and prescreening to individuals in the ACT program as needed.Required to become a Certified Preadmission/Prescreening Evaluator within 30 days of hire.Required to attend to program emergencies and crisis after normal business hours.Preferred candidate will have knowledge of ACT licensure, and Medicaid regulations relating to services under their authority and experience in electronic record keeping.Applicant must have excellent computer skills.Preadmission screening evaluator is hired with knowledge, skills, and abilities to establish a welcoming environment for individuals with co-occurring disorders and performing hopeful engagement and integrated screening and assessment.This is a Grade C12 salaried position. The annual salary is $72,818.00. Salary is negotiable.Excellent benefits include sick and annual leave and Virginia Retirement System.
