DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate Company vehicles. Pick-up and deliver products as scheduled and complete delivery/meter tickets as required.

Calculate taxes on fuel and prepare necessary logs and reports as required.

Assist in keeping the vehicle in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance.

Provide sales and service assistance to customers.

Load and unload products as needed.

Keep truck and pumps in clean and orderly condition.

Other general driving, warehouse and dock duties as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

REQUIREMENTS: Must carry a current commercial driver's license (CDL - Class B minimum or Class A preferred) with required tanker and Hazmat endorsements and have a good driving record. Must carry Transportation Worker Identification Card and pass Transportation Security Administration Background Check.

Must be willing to work some overtime during busy seasons and be available for call-outs.

Must be professional and courteous with customers at all times.

Must be able to work well with others and perform a variety of duties.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a current commercial driver's license (CDL) with a hazmat endorsement and a current Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or be able to attain one within 60 days.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The performance of this position requires exposure to industrial areas and marine location which requires the use of personal protective equipment such as appropriate foot wear, safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Industrial areas include hazardous chemicals, fumes, and petroleum by-products.
