Your Role and Responsibilities

Co-Marketing is a program that provides Fund support to partners for their marketing activities. The objective is to promote IBM products and services by partners for new customer acquisition and business expansion. In this role you will support end to end of Co-Marketing Program

Our ecosystem Marketers have a deep understanding of our partners: how they sell, how

they make money, and what their priority offerings are. A critical part of our Marketing

organization, they drive partner-led demand motions to scale business growth for IBM's

technology offerings including hardware and software

In this role you will manage and support the business operation and logistics to maximize the business productivity and visibility of Japan business unit.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Support the external communication on programs mainly on Co-marketing in timely manner

  • Manage and support Co-marketing program backend operations such as program communication, funding allocation, Q&A handling to the partners, and related reporting

  • Manage procurement work, budgeting support

  • Provide event delivery support to the local sales and even to ecosystem marketing members

  • Supporting contents production processes including content reviews, loading and publishing, campaigns, and helping troubleshoot campaign execution issues.

  • Proactively collaborate with IBM internal stakeholders to be familiar with the market trend, insight, and the demand from the field

  • Creating reports of program performance or of major KPIs

  • Report Japan marketing leaders on up-to-date business status and insight

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience

  • Excellent program/project management and execution skills, with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and a self-starter

  • Fluent in Japanese & English - strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Basic skill of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Power Point

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • B2B partner marketing experience with fundamental understanding of partner business

  • Familiar with Procurement & Claims operations, Budget Management

  • Experience in campaign design and delivery

  • Experimentative mindset - works quickly to pilot, succeed/fail fast and scale what works
