Reporting to the APAC Training and Education Operations Senior Manager, together with Japan Digital Education Program Consultant, as a Digital Program & Analytics Specialist, you will drive Japan T&E digital programs, projects and operations, from planning phase, implementation, and analysis of outcome on digital learning management systems.

The position requires frequent engagement and close collaboration with the Japan commercial and education teams for digital learning projects including creating appropriate digital content pages, courses, events, webinars setup, analytics reporting on digital learning management systems, timeline and milestone and reporting framework. The scope also includes efficient communication of the Japan projects and requirements with global COE partner and APAC partners internally, as appropriate, and constant project analysis for improvement opportunities This is an individual contributor role and will be sitting in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Plan, implement, for Japan regional commercial and education teams digital program pages, event, webinar on digital learning management systems for both internal and external audiences, as per the APAC product education digital education strategic priorities

  • Generated audience course completion, content traffic reporting and actively contributing to internal stakeholder engagement and communications on delegated product and region

  • Implement standardized digital programs, courses, events, webinar reporting framework for digital learning management systems on approved analytics and survey tools

  • Respond to and troubleshooting with internal and external audiences for platform, content, events issues reported on digital learning management systems

  • Create, deliver and coach digital learning system and data analytics technical trainings to existing and new system administrators

  • Work with Medtronic Multi Channel Marketing team to design relevant communication materials for stakeholder engagement and external audience promotion

  • Actively learning about the digital training methodology and technologies for effective program delivery

  • Recognizing and utilizing approved MDT systems for program implementation

  • Analyzing of issues, and recommending solutions for multi-angled problems

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

  • At least 1 year experience in digital learning content development & system management role with basic degree, or 0 years’ experience with an advanced degree

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese languages, preferably has JLPT (日本語能力試験) N1 / N2 or BJT J1+/J1 Certification

  • Ability to work some weekends, as key required by events

  • Computer and MS proficient

  • Strong and on-time execution focusses with stakeholders in a dynamic environment with an ability to be agile

  • Strong communications, presentation skills and organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail

  • Experience to have problem solving via Lean or other innovation methodology

  • Learning management system or software platform technical support is highly regarded

  • Proven competency with data analytics dashboard creation with Power BI and Adobe Analytics is a great plus

  • Experience to have problem solving via Lean or other innovation methodology
