Job Description

Oracle is a leader in cloud computing worldwide, with over 130,000 employees. Lakehouse and Analytics Data Specialists support Customers Cloud, Data and AI transformations by jointly ideating and architecting their data driven solutions using Oracle and OCI technology.

As part of the Lakehouse and Analytic Data Specialists you will be one of the go-to technical SMEs for Lakehouse and Analytics Data platform discussions, delivering architectural and specialist guidance to assist customers in defining their business data platforms, from solution ideation, design and through to realization of the subscription value. Collaboration with other specialists and other Oracle teams will be a key quality ensuring excellence in customer experience. Key Stakeholders include Oracle Customers, Oracle Sales Teams, Business Leaders, Product Management and Specialist Teams.

Overview: We are seeking a technical subject matter expert, specialized in Cloud, Data, AI and Analytics, who understands Oracle’s technology for data platforms, the industry trends and can leverage her/his experience, technical and industry knowledge to jointly ideate and design solutions with Customers that address their most complex data challenges, ensuring Customer success using Oracle technology.

The SME needs to be passionate about data, highly motivated, collaborative, a continuous learner, expert in problem-solving and value articulation and an Oracle technology advocate.

What You’ll Do :

  • Provide Lakehouse and Analytics Data expertise on the scope of opportunities led by sales teams, aiming to enable Customers data driven initiatives and making them successful.

  • Support Sales teams during complete sales cycle with Customer meetings, Product Demos, Architecture discussions, Healthchecks, building return on investment/TCO.

  • Regularly interacts across functional areas with other teams, namely Sales, Product Management, Consulting, Oracle Partners and the whole Oracle ecosystem.

  • Prepare and educate customers on new Product features, releases and best practice in a scalable and repeatable manner.

  • Serve as the customers advocate and provide feedback to product management and development organization.

  • Work with Partners and other internal Oracle team members to align pre-sales activities with the customer's business case and strategy.

  • Continuous Engagement and interaction with C level executives.

  • Responsible for continuous learning and promoting a culture of innovation through expert knowledge

  • Build credibility and rapport with Customers and Oracle teams, leveraging thought leadership and technical expertise

  • Responsible for proposing and creating Curated content both internal and External.

  • Be one of the go-to experts for Lakehouse and Analytics Data in EMEA

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of Solution Engineering experience with a bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience in self-developing technical and soft skills

  • A strong level of accountability and governance ensuring excellence in customer experience.

  • Ability to engage with Customers and Internal Stakeholders to have strategic conversations around Lakehouse and Analytics data architectures, particularly in trusted advisor roles with C-level executives in relation to IT services articulating service and technology solutions in terms of business value and risk.

  • Experience with Oracle and non-oracle Database, big data and open-source technologies, Integration, Analytics, AI/ML and data governance.

  • General knowledge of competitor Offerings

  • Knowledge of industry trends and standards being adopted.

  • Strong understanding of OCI and Oracle Data and analytic offerings

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated technical issues in hybrid cloud-based environments, effective communication skills, collaboration across teams, and conveying technical concepts to non-technical key stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains.
