As Chef de Partie at Holiday Inn supporting Ivy & Jack, Conference and Events, and Room Service, your passion for presentation and dedication to delivering flavour will complete each guest’s experience. By taking pride in your workspace, keeping your standards high, and giving our menu the benefit of your expertise, you’ll create some of our guests’ most lasting memories.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for food and creating great guests experiences, someone who wants to add value in an environment that will allow them to discover new and innovative products and ways of working within a global brand.

You will be a passionate chef with a positive attitude, someone who has an interest to progress their culinary career within a large global company and work within the varying styles of kitchen operations. You will be responsible for producing a wide range of quality products whilst exercising your knowledge of hygiene and food safety, maintaining our high guest service standards and supporting the greater kitchen and Hotel team.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Commercial Cookery qualification

  • 4 -5 years previous culinary experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

  • Great attention to detail

  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills

  • Time management skills

  • Previous experience supervising a small team

  • A working knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays across a seven day roster

  • Ongoing commitment to quality and providing a truly unique experience to our guests

  • You must also meet the legal requirements to work in Australia, with no limitations.
