Toro Australia is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic Area Manager Commercial professional to join our Irrigation Sales Team. This role will involve serving two locations: Perth WA, and the Northern Territory. As the face of our company, the Area Manager will work closely with our dealer network to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving sales and promoting our brand across the region. Key responsibilities include representing and selling our top-tier products, enhancing our company's image, and providing field technical support to Toro Australia's customers. What will you do?

• Conduct regular client visits for needs analysis and business development.

• Proactively represent the entire Commercial Business product and service portfolio.

• Assist in preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly sales and profit forecasts, and develop strategies to achieve targets.

• Monitor and report accurate market data, competitor activities, and emerging industry trends.

• Stay current on new irrigation products, competitor offerings, and general market information relevant to customers.

• Identify new business opportunities, focusing primarily on the existing customer base.

What do you need?

• Exceptional and proven sales skills in an irrigation environment.

• Relevant industry experience.

• Sales, persuasiveness and negotiation skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external customers.

• Excellent PC and ‘Microsoft Office’ literacy

• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

• Infor CRM or other data base management skills.
