What you will do:

  • Provide direction and guidance to all levels of employees on HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency.

  • Actively participate as a functional resource on the business team ensuring human resources is an integral part of the business strategy.

  • Provide direction to customers in interpretation and application of employee-related policies, practices and procedures, as well as international laws if applicable, governmental regulations, and internal investigations to enhance consistency and maintain and improve the work environment of the facility.

  • Provide employment and personnel services including core HR processes.The position often confronts complex issues or problems, which require careful analysis and diagnosis. Problems are often unique and solutions can require original approaches.

  • May modify existing approaches or develop new solutions.Sets priorities and establishes a work plan in order to complete broadly defined assignments and achieve desired results.

  • Establishes quality standards consistent with overall quality goals. Impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Timeliness, Accuracy, Efficiency, Cost Savings, and Process Quality.

  • Position serves as facilitator for the analysis and development of new quality initiatives in the measure(s) stated.

  • Position will function as the Human Resources lead contact for Core HR Operations Activities.

What You Have:

  • Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

  • Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee issues.

  • HR: Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.

  • Experience: Proficiency with Workday, PowerBI, and Microsoft Excel
