Responsibilities You will advise and supports the implementation of strategies, programs and processes to integrate USMC, Joint, Naval and Coalition command, control, communications and computers initiatives. You will develop policies, guidelines, and standards for the planning, development, integration, implementation, and evaluation of information technology (IT) systems and subsystems that meet overall information needs. You will analyze feasibility studies, proposals, and in-depth analyses of current requirements and forecasts trends for future needs. Keeps abreast of changing and emerging technologies. You will include awareness of the item's status within the planning, programming, budgeting and execution (PPBE) cycle. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying, advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices sufficient to accomplish assignments such as: develop and interpret policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services; provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may or may not be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
