JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calculate and prepare laboratory formulations and chemical solutions.

• Perform various membrane evaluation tests.

• Collect, analyze, interpret, and report data and experimental findings.

• Maintain laboratory in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.

• Fabricate and/or modify experimental apparatus or manufacturing equipment.

• Assist in the development of new testing methods or procedures.

• Provide general laboratory and administrative support including, but not limited to, inventory maintenance, safety audits, and maintenance and upkeep of the laboratory and warehouse.

• Perform other general support duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have an AA or higher completed degree/diploma in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Biology or a related field OR

• 2-3 years of laboratory experience in lieu of a degree.

• Able to work at least 30 hours per week, but may work 40+ hours per week

• Critical thinking and good problem-solving skills.

• Detail oriented, diligent, careful in observation and work.

• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• The desire and ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced team environment.

• Being adaptable and open to change.

• Effective time management skills and able to manage multiple tasks, while maintaining proper attention to detail.

• Strictly adhering to safety policies and guidelines.
