Overview
The Employment Consultant II is responsible for helping people with disabilities obtain and maintain successful employment. This position will: assist with the recruitment of individuals with disabilities seeking employment; assess the vocational supports and preferences needed for success; establish a person-centered employment plan; coordinate employment opportunities between individuals with disabilities and employers; provide on-site job retention services to ensure training and workplace accommodations are in place to support successful job retention; provide pre-employment training.
Role Requirements
- Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, communications, marketing, human resources or related field and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience. OR Associate's Degree in a related field and six (6) years of experience working with adults with disabilities in an employment setting. OR High School Diploma/GED with eight (8) years of experience working with adults with disabilities. Experience assessing and documenting workplace accommodations and supports. Experience in employment outreach/recruitment activities. Must possess a valid driver's license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under corporate policy.
