WorkSource Oregon Mental Health Clinical Manager in PENDLETON, Oregon

Job Summary Provides support in the planning, development, execution and on-going evaluation of Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center Mental Health programs and clinical services, assuring that they all meet appropriate professional standards, licensing/certification and grant condition requirements. The incumbent performs mental health counseling, assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, follow-up and monitoring of clients who are being treated for mental health issues. All duties and responsibilities will be performed in accordance with the Yellowhawk Mission and Vision statements, policies and relevant laws. Minimum Qualifications: Master\'s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field required with five (5) years of successful post graduate experience relevant to this position. Professional licensure such as Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with demonstrated individual and/or family counseling experience required. Five (5) consecutive years of successful post licensure experience in BH supervision/management. Demonstrated experience including goal setting, program administration and development, and policy and procedure monitoring. Demonstrated skill and ability to use automated office equipment and software programs, including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records and other electronic charting modalities. Comprehensive knowledge of integrating behavioral health services with other clinical services. Demonstrated successful experience managing a multiple funding source budget. Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health programs, program development, research, infrastructure, and current issues and best practices. Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Knowledge of and experience working with generally accepted reporting formats. Demonstrated skill in developing work processes, and implementing quality improvement measures. Successful ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a faced paced environment with multiple deadlines. Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Must possess a valid driver\'s license and maintain insurance requirements to operate General Services Administration vehicles. Must submit to and be able to pass a background check and sign a statement of confidentiality. Must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccinations. Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Behavioral Health or related field. Experience and/or knowledge of history, culture and health needs of Native American communities preferred. Experience in a Tribal healthcare system.
