Job Description

A client of Insight Global's is actively looking for a Systems Administrator to join their collaborative team on a hybrid basis based out of Jefferson, GA (1x a week onsite). This individual will play a key role in maintaining their AS400 system, including collaborating with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, perform backup/ restore operations, administration, security, and other hardware operational related tasks. Furthermore, they will be assisting in user acceptance testing, validating solutions, and performing daily tasks on server clean ups and updates.

More on Day-to-Day

 - Assisting helpdesk with high-level Nesi tickets

 - Heavily supporting applications through programming upgrades and troubleshooting

 - Perform quarterly backups and hardware upgrades

 - Play a key role in auditing, security, and creating user profiles in AS400 & Nesi to ensure correct inventory and operating system privileges

Skills and Requirements

• Experience maintaining and managing all functions within AS400 (Hardware Management, Documentation, Backup/Recovery, System Maintenance, Troubleshooting)

• Proven experience gatherings requirements, identifying needs, and making developments as needed - Experience with Dynamics 365

• iTERA experience for disaster recovery

• IT experience within the manufacturing industry

• Certifications in AS400 or D356FO

• Experience programming with RPG and/or COBOL null
