Why This Role
The role is based in the GF Malaysia office in Penang, Malaysia. The GF Malaysia office serves as a key hub providing engineering resources to supplement GF’s global fab operations on a real-time basis. Through the monitoring of key production processes, performance metrics and tool uptime, the GF Malaysia team will be able to provide important round-the-clock support for our global manufacturing operations.
Job Summary
Sorts, posts and files inventory records and production schedules. Estimates and records production rates, prepares shop orders and reviews stock records to determine stock status against project requirements.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Perform scanner jobfile (Recipe) creation according to the requirement
Perform regular housekeeping of production job files.
Work with process engineers to support the engineering request of jobfile creation
Work with equipment engineers to support the recipe integrity check / download
Provide proper and accurate pass down of jobfile issues, outstanding follow-up tasks and documentation (fill up and file the checklists). Follow SOP, carry out CAS as per specification.
Generate daily report according to manager assignment.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics / Chemical process Engineering / Chemistry / Physics
1-2 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry
Good verbal and written communication skills
Flexible and able to support overtime

Team Player
Good ownership and accountability
