Description A&D, a business unit of Pennington Seed/Central Garden & Pet Company, is a leader in the bird food manufacturing industry. We are searching for a Cutting Parts Team Member for our Peebles, OH location. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards in production and ensuring our products meet quality and safety standards. As part of our team, you will be responsible for various tasks working with a team to meet tight schedules and deadlines safely and efficiently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Placing cut parts into jigs to assemble bird feeders/bird houses Able to operate various tool, such as pneumatic staple gun and screwdriver May have to drill holes for screws in an item or operate different machinery Check quality thru each step of assembly process Ensure that time, material, and wastage is minimized Set up and operate a banded saw to cut cants into boards to the correct thickness according to specs Replaces dull saw blades Must have working knowledge of fractions and decimals Able to obtain a forklift license and skills Other duties as assigned by Supervisors. Able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
