Job Description

One of Insight Global's premier energy clients is looking for a Thermographer with 10-15 years of experience to join their team in either Pecos, TX or Carlsbad, NM. This person will be part of the LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) team in the Surface Maintenance group, so LDAR experience is required. Daily, this person's responsibilities will include visiting different sites to perform LDAR inspections and using an analyzer and electronic data recorder to accurately monitor an assigned route within an industrial facility. Additionally, this person will need to calibrate the equipment to ensure optimum performance of the FLIR OGI camera, so an OGI Certification (Optimal Gas Imaging) is required. They will need to accurately identify leaks and process leak tags, as well as complete a daily upload of monitoring activity and submit inspection reports. This role will require daily visits to multiple sites, and this individual must be comfortable walking and inspecting each site in great detail. This person must be able to communicate effectively with site management and cross-functional teams and take the initiative to be proactive and work independently.

Skills and Requirements

Experience in Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR), LDAR inspections, detecting leaks, and processing leak tags

Experience as a Thermographer, LDAR Technician, Monitoring Technician, or Environmental Field Technician

OGI Certification (Optimal Gas Imaging) and experience using FLIR OGI camera to find gas leaks and adjust them for different environmental conditions

Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local LDAR regulations

High school diploma or GED Associate's degree

Local to Pecos, TX or Carlsbad, NM

Previous Chevron experience null
