U.S. Pacific Fleet, Commander in Chief SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. This is an obligated position. The former incumbent has return rights to this position under PL 86-585. Responsibilities You will serve as the Budget Officer or Accounting Officer at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. You will have mastery of budgetary and/or accounting concepts, principles, practices, laws, regulations and their relation to all shipyard financial management information systems. You will have knowledge of COST, CFMS, STARS/FL and SABRS financial reporting systems. You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization while providing recommendations to the shipyard leadership team. You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action. You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical direction and supervision of budget formation, budget execution, and accounting in compliance with laws, regulations, and practices with knowledge of all shipyard financial management systems in order to maintain financial management policies and procedures within the organization.
