Job Description

A partner of Insight Global is seeking an MEP Engineer to join their team. We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to join our team in Norcross, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building functionality, including compressed air, electricity, control panels, exhaust systems, waste/water systems, and connectivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and building infrastructure. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining MEP systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations within our manufacturing facility

Key Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and implement MEP systems for manufacturing facilities

 Conduct detailed engineering analysis and FUM calculations to ensure system efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to optimize manufacturing processes.

 Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.

 Perform regular inspections and maintenance of MEP systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

 Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MEP systems in a timely manner.

 Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.

 Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

 Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and departments.

 Experience with exhaust systems, including design, installation, etc

 Experience with chillers, including selection, installation, etc

 Experience with HVAC systems, including design, installation, etc

 Experience with Waste Water Treatment Plant(s)

 Experience with Gas and Chemical Storage and Distribution systems

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

 Proven experience as an MEP Engineer in the manufacturing industry.

 Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

 Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).

 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

 Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

 Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. null
