Naval Air Systems Command LEAD SECURITY SPECIALIST in Patuxent River, Maryland

Summary YOU WILL SERVE AS A SECURITY SPECIALIST IN THE DIGITAL ANALYTICS INFAND TECH ADV GROUP. WARFARE EFFECTIVENESS DEPT. ENHANCED SECURITIES DIV OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is equivalent to GS-14, Step 10: $139,395 - $181, 216 Responsibilities You will manage, direct, lead, develop, administer, or perform work within one or more security disciplines such as information, physical, communications, operations, foreign disclosure, personnel security and research technology protection. You will provide Physical Security support for the requirements of all AD15 customers in accordance with all DoD, Navy, IC and other related policies. You will provide technical and professional knowledge, gained through advanced security education and extensive work experience, to provide trusted influence over all physical security program. You will ensure the organizations strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work product services. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DA-05 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expert knowledge of ICD 705 Technical Security documentation and security procedures; 2) Experience leading a team with multiple projects concurrently; 3) Clear written and oral communication; 4) Ability to effectively communicate with customers at high levels. The duties of this position require the incumbent to complete the Security Professional Education and Development (SPeD) certifications within 24 months of assignment. Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and the Physical Security Certification (PSC) must be maintained as a condition of employment.
