Engineering Technician III/IV (Fuels):

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a military or technical trade school in propulsion systems, electricity, electronics, avionics, or mechanics; or completion of at least 30 semester hours of related technical courses.
• Must have at least six (6) years for a Tech III and ten (10) years for a Tech IV of practical experience in a related fuels/lubrication field with demonstrated experience in handling/transporting commercial or military aircraft fuels along with the operation/repair of associated fuel distribution and containment systems.
• Navy/Marine Corps aviation shipboard fuels experience and Aviation Boatswain's Mate Fuels (ABF) A School backgrounds are highly desired.
• Position will assist facility technicians and engineers in performing technical tasks during the installation, operation, maintenance, and test of aviation fueling and lubrication systems.
• Additionally, this position will provide technical support for equipment used to evaluate propulsion, electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical systems for military aircraft and associated test systems.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
• Position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD.
