Purpose of Role

Lead the at Thailand Food laboratory business. Develop and implement strategies to grow long-term business revenue profitably. Plan, direct and manage all activities within the business unit, ensure the delivery of high quality and cost-effective service to customers and in the process ensure that all financial, compliance, operational, contractual objectives are met.

Responsibility

  1. Business and financial goals
  • As a member of regional management team, in conjunction with the Group Manager SEA, develop and implement the business strategic plan and initiatives to expand the organisation's growth opportunities

  • In conjunction with Group Manager SEA and CCE BV THB, develop annual financial budget and ongoing forecast process. Own ultimate responsibility for the P&L of the organization

  • Set and monitor the performance of the business unit against budgets including productivity, cost control, sales revenue and legal compliance. Hold managers accountable for delivery against agreed plans and budgets

  • Ensure business unit strategies and activities are aligned with the overall corporate objectives and policies

  1. Business growth
  • Build and deliver the annual and monthly revenue budget with targeted margin, and provide quarterly and monthly forecast.

  • Lead building sales growth strategy, from analysing market, prioritizing segments, analysing competition, to proposing value and building strategic plan and actions. Build and execute investment plan to enable growth

  • Support Sales Manager to grow and manage sales pipeline, generate leads, identify opportunities, map stakeholder, build proposal and close deals.

  • Promote the company's brand. Attend marketing events such as conferences, exhibitions, promotion of products and etc.

  1. Operational Management
  • Plan and deliver operational projects including laboratory and LIMS within timeline and budget.

  • Develop general directions and targets, consistently lead and motivate laboratories and support staff to deliver best services to customers.

  • Lead Quality and Operations team, ensure that all laboratory systems, including technical and quality procedures are aligned with company requirements

  • Manage costs in line with the budget and business plan and proactively drive cost saving.

    1. Relationships
  • Work with management team, build agreed objectives and provide reports outlining progress against strategic objectives and a review on business and financial performance

  • Provide leadership to BVAQ TH team. Ensure that team members have clear roles and responsibilities and accountability of high performance. Coach, mentor and grow talents across the business.

  1. Others
  • Keep up to date with the ongoing business that other Business Units are conducting or the engagements that they are seeking to secure and offer expertise to assist them in any way required on a consistent basis

  • Ensure that all Critical results and issues are escalated to Group Manger BVAQ SEA

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor Degree in a Food Science or related in food.

  2. 15+ years of working experience in TIC or Food & Beverage industry or Food Laboratory.

  3. Strong sales background, track record of leading and growing sales with sales target.

  4. Extensive people management and manpower turnover,

  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for reporting to Oversea management.

  6. Strong analytical and problem solving in technical skills

  7. Own vechical.
