What is the Job all about?
The Senior Global Payments Accountantunderstands and performs tasks assigned to you. Covering outgoing payments processing and bank administrative tasks. You will support the migration activity, process improvements on the assigned project.
Your main responsibilities:
Initiate and ensure timely bank outgoing payments (intercompany, third-party vendors, employee claims/benefits)
Do bank approvals for manual inputted payments in the bank
Support manual payment run in SAP Hana system
Process outgoing payment via manual input in the bank as per ticket raised.
Ensures correct information has been inputted in the bank (beneficiary name, address, amount, payment method, debit bank account, etc.) Practice the 4-eye review and approve outgoing payments on time in the bank.
Provide issue resolution, analyze returned or rejected payments.
Performs bank administrative tasks (bank token, set up of bank access, coordinating with the bank and Grundfos colleagues on any issues and concerns regarding bank access)
Performs team deliverables and ensure metrics are being achieved.
Apply and support internal controls related to outgoing payments process.
Support Internal/External Audit activities. Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Support and participate in process migrations until go-live preparations.
Support to create, maintain and update process descriptions/manuals.
Checks Critical vendor list on a monthly basis and ensures to pay on time.
Support ad-hoc activities given by Supervisor or Management
Your background:
Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience
Min. 3-5 years’ experience in PtP/Payment’s processing
Extensive AP experience in another Shared Service centre/BPO
Preferably with experience in process migrations
