WHAT YOU WILL DO We are looking for a Crew Chief to support the Survey Department in our Tri-Cities office. In this role you will work on a variety of projects including residential subdivisions, educational facilities, and military installations. You will: Perform a mix of office and field work Direct the survey crew to ensure that work is completed within budget and to clients' satisfaction Perform surveys, including ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, route surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking projects WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Here's our list of must-haves: 4+ years of survey experience. Survey Crew Chief experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of land surveying principles and practices. Working knowledge of TDS, Trimble software, Trimble Robotic Total Stations, and GPS equipment. Able to organize field notes and execute field staking. Strong communication and computer skills. A valid Washington State driver's license and the ability to obtain and maintain clearance to work at local military and Department of Energy installations. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. $29.80 - $43 per hour Annual discretionary performance-based bonus. 100% paid employee medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance and long-term disability protection.
