Job Description Summary This position is responsible for full operation of the ATL System, and relieving the Auto Palletizer operator during breaks. Job Description The individual in this position must: * Sort, stack and repair pallets as needed * Move or relocate empty pallets with lift truck * Operate the nail gun safely * Assist in loading pallets into palletizer, and damaged pallets in to trailer, and other warehouse utility tasks * Record temperatures of both freezers and loading dock at the start of shift * Maintain housekeeping in the area * Relieve the auto palletizer for breaks and assist when necessary * Make finished tickets if auto labeler goes down * Change ticket media and maintain the auto labeler * Responsible for the backup printer * Drive forklift as necessary pulling samples, QA holds, damaged cases and add or subtract to split pallets if time allows * Operate ATL rollers and chains * Use HMI screen for ATL * Relocate and dump waste dumpsters in immediate work area * AMD, CIL and Centerline work as necessary * Perform equal or less related job duties as assigned by the Warehouse Leader or Supervisor * Break Auto Palletizer * Use Auto Manifest to correct manifest or ticketing errors * Change forklift battery as required Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the functions of this job. The employee: * Will regularly work near moving mechanical parts * Is frequently exposed to cold surroundings * May be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration * Will regularly work in an environment in which the noise level is usually loud * Will regularly work around forklift traffic Basic & Preferred Qualifications Education * High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job.
