This Position is for First Class Pipe Welders with a company location in Coden, AL.

Shifts and Hours: Full Time. Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Summary: Seeking First Class Pipe Welders. The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms. Must Pass MBB's Pipe Welding Test. A Pipe Welder will be hired into this position if at the discretion of the welding foreman or the yard super-intendent the candidate shows the proficiency, knowledge, and ability to perform the function and production levels of pipe which will require consistent quality welds. These functions are welding pipe in position or mirror welding.

Responsibilities: Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products. Install and repair welds. Follow blueprints to meet product specifications. Calculate material measurements to verify specification.

Requirements: Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields. Must be certified as a Pipe Welder. Must be able to pass and certify on 6g or 6gr. Familiarity with welding tools and procedures. Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics. Ability to handle physical workload. Must have access to reliable transportation to work. Submit to pre-employment or related testing as required by employer.
