What You’ll Do –

The Lead Subledger Accounting Specialist, manages the performance for the team including coaching, training. Specifically, the role plans, organize, review monthly the workload of the team to ensure that tasks are achieved and delivered within the SLA. It also acts as 1st line support to respond escalations received from internal and external clients. Performs root cause analysis for issues raised or escalated and recommend preventive actions to avoid occurrence and improve internal processes.

Overall, the role identifies and lead AP process improvements and attends weekly meetings for AP projects and provide the necessary requirements needed ERP or Development team.

During a Typical Day, You’ll -

  • Deliver results on weekly productivity and monthly Key Performance Indicator of the team. Run a weekly report to check if the team achieved the target for each KPI.

  • Monitors daily the SLA of the invoices scanned in the Perceptive Content to make sure that all invoices are processed within the 3 days.

  • Monitors daily the admin mailbox, ensures timely scanning of invoices and response to queries from internal and external clients are within 3 days SLA.

  • Assists on month end closing. Ensures that the team process the paid invoices for timely recording of payments.

  • Reviews quarterly the job aid/process documentation of the team to ensure that it is up to date.

  • Works internally with Reporting team to provide process walkthrough for internal and external auditors.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Graduate of Finance/Accounting-related Course

  • Intermediate to advanced in MS Excel skills

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Preferably with experience in BPO or Shared Services industry

  • Experience with ERP systems, Oracle is an advantage

  • Ability to work at a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities

  • With good scholastic records or relevant AP experience
