The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract providers across various specialties and levels of experience.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, referrals) to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for specific physician positions.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
  • Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle, providing timely updates and feedback, including assisting with credentialing, privileging, and malpractice.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and maintain NHSC reporting to HRSA
  • Coordinate Locums Tenens for various clinical departments of the hospital.
  • Logistical coordination for rotating/visiting clinical students including housing, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute provider retention events.
  • Coordinate with Medical Staff office to coordinate locums coverage and On-Call Coverage of various clinical departments.
