Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Senior Coordinator, Billing in Parsippany, New Jersey

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking a Senior Coordinator, Billing to join our team at the Parsippany - 22 Sylvan Way location in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Job Summary

The Senior Billing Coordinator position supports our business functions by completing billing procedures for an assigned set of franchised properties, including more complex master franchise and TSA accounts. The coordinator is responsible for setting up and invoicing recurring monthly transactions outlined in WHR franchise and TSA agreements, including more technical advanced pricelist setups. The coordinator will monitor an assigned group of accounts and where needed adjust accounts for transfers, terminations, and amendments. In addition, the Sr. Coordinator will also review and sign-off on Billing Processor monthly submissions, track and review monthly amendments ensuring all were processed timely by the department coordinators. The Sr. Coordinator will also assist with new hire training, SOX compliance reporting/processes, maintain department standard operating procedures, and leading special projects.

This position will take direction from the Manager and/or Director of Billing and work cohesively together to achieve identified department goals which in turn aligns with our WHR corporate goals and strategic plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, review and adjust account status transfers, terminations, amendments and new openings for assigned set of properties, including more complex master franchise and TSA accounts. Through ad-hoc reporting and various Oracle system programs ensure accurate account invoicing. Setup of advanced pricelists, license agreement contracts and miscellaneous contracts.

  • Review and sign-off of Billing Processor monthly reporting/compliance packages. Review monthly amendments ensuring all were processed timely by the department coordinators. Monthly dead deal reporting/clean-up

  • Assist with new hire training, SOX compliance reporting/processes, maintain department standard operating procedures, and leading special projects.

  • Lead contact for and process monthly interface programs for various department programs. Retrieve daily updates as administered by Contract Administration for any account adjustments as needed. Support various teams with monthly close process. Maintain all records and files on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

  • Process Statement and invoice request from various internal WHR departments and Franchisee Owners while supporting the overall finance department objectives.

Education & Experience

  • Strong customer service in a fast paced team environment.

  • Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve desired outcomes

  • Ability to navigate through both web and Windows based financial systems.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.

  • Ability to process large volumes of transactions accurately with a strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential problems/act in a proactive manner

  • Knowledge of WHR programs and ability to effectively communicate with other department

  • College Degree Finance or a related field

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and the ability to perform advanced functions

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle billing systems, with 2-3 years billing experience

  • Or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
