15 month+ contract assignment!

    Job Description:

The Senior Accountant conducts transactional activities and work closely with the BPO. Contributes and ensures proper and effective administrative, financial, and asset management, in compliance with existing fiscal and civil regulations, as well as with specific company policies and accounting principles. Manages several processes independently within framework, while steering BPO resources who pick up operational tasks. Oversees limited complex transactions, works independently with general supervision, and has limited judgements to make.

  • Payroll Accounting Process

  • Projects and improvements

  • Compliance and integrity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration

  • 5-10+ years’ experience in Finance/Accounting

  • Experience working with an outsourced accounting team partner

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with many accounting and reporting principles and processes

  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with teams, on- and offshore

  • An analytical mindset and solve basic problems independently

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, being able to work with both management and employees in the organization

  • Work independently with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to work in decentralized finance structure

  • Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience preferred

Details/Additional Information:

  • This position will be a hybrid opportunity based in the company’s NJ office location with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week.

  • The standard business hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5PM EST with overtime opportunity as needed.
