This individual will serve a key function in providing Environmental / ESG Due Diligence; analysis of various data sources; environmental compliance support, and report preparation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with top industry leadership on a complex, dynamic, and diverse portfolio of environmental projects in a continuous learning environment.Job Responsibilities-Conduct Environmental / ESG Due Diligence and deal support for a variety of legal, financial, and industrial clients;-Assist clients with post-merger integration and compliance;-Conduct file reviews, in person site reconnaissance, and document searches;-Assist with report preparation;-Good understanding of sustainability frameworks and environmental, health, and safety regulations including staying up to date on regulatory changes and proposed changes;-Ability to attend in-person training and development activities, as required;-Complete required health and safety processes and documentation; and-Perform other duties as requested.Qualifications-Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Science, or Sustainability;-Minimum GPA of 3.0;-Preferred candidate will have prior relevant internship or work experience;-Strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn;-Excellent written and verbal communication skills;-Comfortable visiting facilities independently, utilizing cover story, and with respect to confidentiality considerations, as applicable;-Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, time management, and judgment capabilities;-Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;-Availability to work overtime as needed in order to meet customer needs and deadlines;-Health and safety focus for all work completed;-Access to dependable internet and quality home workstation;-Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation access to remote job site locations; and-Flexibility to allow for periodic air and vehicle travel (up to approximately 20% travel anticipated).Langan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
