Aston Carter Collections Representative in Parsippany, New Jersey

Description:

This person is going to be responsible for working closely with the Team Lead in order to help reduce the total outstanding payments that the company has. They will supporting both sides of the business between Recycling Management Resources and Wilmington Paper corp.

They will be responsible for reviewing the aging report and working between Excel and three different programs that they have to determine the outstanding balance. They will need to be able to manipulate the report and systems to be able to find the right amount.

They will be pulling the information from the system and then follow up with the customer regarding any unapplied cash and outstanding invoices.

Assemble a spreadsheet to send out the cash that was applied and what payments need to still be redone.

Follow up with customers through email and phone calls regarding outstanding balances and next steps.

It is important for this person to work with their partners within the accounting team in order to make sure payments are all accounted for. All statements that are sent are through a manual process so communication internally is key!

1+ years of collections experience

Strong Excel skills

Experience within business to business

Strong notetaking abilities

Strong communication skills (Communication is VITAL for this and they will need to make sure they are accessible through Teams and respond quickly because there are tight turnaround times)

Intermediate Level
