Description

We currently have an immediate hire for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our organization. This person will play a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable functions and reporting structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and arrange debt repayment schedules for past due invoices.

• Compile accounting and reporting data related to cash receipts, chargebacks, collections, credits, return authorizations, reconcile deductions, general ledger adjustments, etc.

• Advising customers on strategies and actions necessary for debt repayment.

• Persuading customers to pay monies due or to return merchandise.

• Communicating with customers through telephone, email or in person, to establish reasons for overdue payments and to review terms of sales, services or credit contracts.

• Responding to customer account inquiries.

• Documenting weekly and monthly reports on customer financial status and collections.

• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Assisting with other administrative functions as required.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Suite); Knowledge of financial or accounting software is an advantage.

• Customer service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
