Blue Mountain Mechanical Plumbing Foreman Or Superintendent in Parker, Colorado

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plumbing Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive plumbing knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage field crews effectively. This role requires overseeing the installation of plumbing systems, managing subcontractors and apprentices, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining a high standard of quality throughout all phases of the project. You will also collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Supervise the work of the crew on the job site, making sure tasks are done safely and on schedule.

2.Install plumbing systems, including underground systems, rough-in, and fixtures, for water, waste, and fuel systems.

3.Keep the job site clean and organized to make sure the work environment is safe and professional.

4.Make sure all the tools and equipment needed are available and in good working order. Keep company equipment and rented equipment safe and well-maintained.

5.Work with project managers to make sure materials are ordered on time so the project stays on track.

6.Utilize technology to write and submit daily reports about job progress to keep supervisors updated.

7.Train and guide apprentices and crew members on the job, making sure they follow safety rules and best practices.

8.Read blueprints and plans to make sure plumbing systems are installed correctly.

9.Follow all safety rules and company policies on the job site.

10.Make sure the job meets company quality standards and respond to the needs of customers both inside and outside the company.

Qualifications:

1.Must have a valid Journeyman or Master Plumbing License from DORA.

2.Proven experience in the plumbing industry, including knowledge of all tools, equipment, and skills necessary for the complete installation of plumbing systems.

3.Experience supervising and directing a field crew, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure deadlines are met.

4.Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications to ensure accurate project execution.

5.Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to implement safety protocols on job sites.

6.Reliable transportation to and from work is required.

7.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

8.Ability to work within the guidelines of company policies and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Physical Requirements:

1.Must have full range of mobility in the upper and lower body.

2.Ability to reach overhead, squat, kneel, bend, stand, and climb for extended periods.

3.Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently throughout the workday.

4.Ability to hear at a level or correctable to receive detailed verbal instructions.

5.Vision must be at a level or correctable for clarity in both short and long distances.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to work in various physical positions such as standing, kneeling, squatting, and climbing.
