Description

PIM Brands is seeking an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst to join our team. The EDI Analyst will play a critical role in facilitating seamless data exchange between PIM Brands and its trading partners, including customers, vendors, shippers, regulatory agencies, and others. This role is essential for enhancing the efficiency of business data transmission and will require both technical acumen and strong communication skills.

• Analyze and define EDI requirements for clients, especially in non-standard or unique scenarios.

• Provide guidance and education to clients on EDI guidelines and capabilities.

• Create, develop, and maintain EDI mapping documents.

• Collaborate with IT staff to develop, test, and implement new or modified systems.

• Develop and maintain communication links with trading partners, ensuring smooth information integration.

• Periodically review EDI systems to assess performance and identify necessary updates.

• Stay updated with the latest EDI and internet technology developments.

• Ensure transparent communication with all internal and external stakeholders regarding EDI setup and execution.

• Assist senior EDI support staff as required, based on business needs.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with EDI administration or indirect experience in customer service, logistics, or related fields.

• Previous exposure to EDI, ideally in an IT or customer service setting.

• Basic understanding of EDI formats and internet functions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to solve complex problems and design tailored systems for client needs.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
