Hyatt Assistant Operations Manager - Rooms and F&B in PARK CITY, Utah

The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of day-to-day processes and colleagues of the hotel’s Rooms and Food & Beverage division consisting of the Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, EPC restaurant, Market and Banquets operations.This position will rotate through each department/division to gain knowledge and experience in each function. The first rotation will be in the Food & Beverage division.Duties would include but are not limited to resolving guest concerns, scheduling, coaching and counseling, maintaining department standards, staff development, interviewing, payroll and supporting the team members within these respective areas. The Operations Assistant Manager- Rooms & F&B is also responsible for maximizing rooms & F&B revenue, controlling expenses, and driving the highest level of customer service and scores. This individual conducts department meetings and pre-shifts to maintain open communication with colleagues and is responsible for conducting a departmental monthly financial review with the Rooms Division Manager.

* This is an hourly management position based on a 45-hour work week *

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills

  • Ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience in hotel Rooms or F&B Operations.

  • Good customer skills are also required.
