CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN

Job Description:

Objective: To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop.

Position Summary: Responsible for general cleanliness and sanitary conditions of schools and other facilities. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Effective communication Ability to operate hand and power custodial and cleaning equipment including snow blower, riding mower, and push mower Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and co-workers Capable of lifting 100 lbs. maximum, up to 50 lbs. frequently Capable of working on stepladders and scaffolding Capable of bending, squatting, standing, walking frequently Capable of reaching, sitting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and stooping occasionally Ability to engage in periodic repetitive motion
