If yes, Lakemary is looking for a Registered Nurse for our Children\'s Residential Service Program. In this role you will work with children and adolescents (ages 6-21) diagnosed with developmental disabilities and co-occurring psychiatric concerns within the residential environment.

Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate driven care.
• Complete health assessments following safety interventions.
• Triaging illness and injury reports
• Implementing and following care plans
• Communicating with parents/guardians, and other relevant community stakeholders
• Intervene in crisis situations, including physical management of residents, using approved crisis management system and skills.
• Complete all documentation by the end of shift.

An ideal candidate for this position has:

• Knowledge of:
  • Professional nursing theory and practice.
  • Internal working relationships of the facility staff
  • Accrediting standards and regulations
• Ability to:
  • Administer a nursing care program
  • Direct and coordinate the application of nursing care techniques to persons served situations
  • Maintain a helpful and sympathetic attitude toward persons served under trying conditions and to maintain harmonious working relationships with professional, paraprofessional, and non-professional employees.

Registered Nurse/ Licenses Practical Nurse Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and either currently licensed or license-eligible as a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nursein the State of Kansas.
• Preferred experience working with:
  • Children or adolescents
  • Intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Psychiatric disorders
  • Inpatient or residential setting
• Be at least 18+ years of age
