Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk in Paola, Kansas. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of the entire accounts payable cycle, daily reconciliation of bank accounts, and monthly preparation of reports and analysis of various GL accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle from intake to payment

• Conduct daily reconciliation of bank accounts

• Monitor credit card purchases on a daily basis

• Manage employee enrollment and ensure proper use of the expense program

• Reconcile credit card statements monthly

• Prepare monthly reports and conduct analysis for various GL accounts

• Participate in special projects as required

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and QuickBooks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices

• Skills in conducting Check Runs

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

• Ethical conduct in handling confidential financial information

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
