Director, Mobile Equipment Solution Sales

Kalmar Panama is looking for aMobile Equipment Solutions Sales Directorto lead the sales activities of equipment and combinations of services and equipment as solutions in the Latin American region.

Main tasks and responsibilities

The suitable candidate has to develop and execute solution sales plans together with the sales teams, to develop a solid understanding of the customers' business and how to create value by applying solutions through value-based sales behavior.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Order intake and sales for area of responsibilities – price management

  • Sales planning – tactical planning to achieve team targets

  • Coaching and mentoring for solution sales representatives and other team members

  • Evaluate and develop solution sales representatives performance and capabilities

  • Support and participate in complex customer negotiations or senior management dialogs

  • Develop and maintain direct relations with major accounts and own managed accounts

  • Market intelligence – awareness of development of market/customer demands/businesses and

  • competitive environment

  • Reporting - order intake forecasts, won and lost (CRM), market shares

  • Annual planning – budget process for area of responsibilities

  • HSE compliance in team’s daily operations

  • Manage cost control in area of responsibility

  • Ensure execution of company’s outline business strategy

  • Ensure business compliance to company policies

  • Ensure team members compliant behavior according to Code of Conducts

What you’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate would have capabilities for cross functional work. They would also have good communication and social skills, ability to focus locally in a global environment.

Education:

  • University degree in economics or engineering (or equivalent).

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar industry

Extensive leadership experience.

  • Deep knowledge of sales planning and sales execution

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of equipment

  • Deep capability and experience in creating solutions
