Sutter Health Supervisor, Facility Technicians in Palo Alto, California

Position Overview:

In an ambulatory setting, supervises the day to day activities of staff and contract personnel, providing direction regarding building maintenance, physical security, and safety, as well as serves as the point of contact for various issues. Manages and oversees all facility related project work to include departmental facility planning, staff relocations, space configurations, building maintenance and repairs. Oversees projects, and daily tasks with regard to building and workplace services related projects. Analyzes key metrics and looks for ways to improve processes within the Facilities team. Serves as the affiliate ADA Coordinator.

EDUCATION:

HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

5 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge and ability to operate shop tools, stationary and portable shop tools.

Understanding of refrigeration, hydraulics, computers, and basic electrical test equipment.

Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

Works with electrical, mechanical and other complex systems.

Must be able to prioritize work and complete tasks independently without supervision.

Pay Range is $51.58 to $64.47 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
