JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Palo Alto, California

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design and develop web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and functionalities. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high-quality and optimal performance. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards. Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Develop and maintain databases, APIs, and web servers. Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Full Stack Engineer, Computer Software Programmer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Jenkins; NodeJS; CSS; HTML; Java; Javascript; React; Bootstrap; REST; Maven; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; Splunk; GIT; Automated Testing; Unit Testing; Typescript.

Job Location: 3223 Hanover St, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $171,300 - $185,000 per year.
