HP Inc. Returnship - Partner Manager in Palo Alto, California

HPs HorizonPulse Returnship Program supports experienced professionals who have taken a career break of 2 years or more and are ready to re-enter the workforce.​ Our 16-week Returnship program offers participants professional work experience and customized programming, where they will gain valuable skills, knowledge, and support through mentorship, training, and networking opportunities, ultimately empowering them to seamlessly transition back into the workforce to achieve their career goals. At the conclusion of the program, you will have the opportunity to be considered for full-time employment, based on your performance and HP's business needs.

The program runs: 16 September 2024-16 January 2025

As a partner manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key partners in the HP Consumer Compute division. You will work closely with product, engineering, legal, and marketing teams to align our goals and objectives with those of our partners, and to create value for both sides. You will also identify new opportunities to drive customer satisfaction and profitability through value-added customer touchpoints and promotion. You will be the main point of contact for our partners and ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire partner lifecycle, from prospecting and contracting to onboarding and reporting.

  • Negotiate and execute partner agreements that maximize revenue and market share for HP and our partners.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies and campaigns.

  • Monitor and analyze partner performance and provide feedback and guidance to optimize results.

  • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise in the course of the partnership and escalate as needed.

Experience and skills needed:

  • Bachelors in Business, Marketing or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence

  • Typically has 5-8 years of work experience, preferably in building and managing partner relationships within the tech industry

  • Experience in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key partners

  • Ability to lead through influence and work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, legal, and marketing

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in executing partnerships agreements

  • Experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies and campaigns
