Position Overview:

Large Hospital is hiring a Lab Technician! This person will provide support and testing for hematopoietic stem cell and solid organ transplants.

Responsibilities Include:

• Testing for organ and bone marrow compatibility between patients and donors, breaking down blood into usable components, adding reagents, freezing, filtering, and processing blood.

• Familiarity with Laboratory Safety Practices and maintaining a clean and sterile environment is crucial.

• Completed work is passed on to the CLS team, who work closely with the Lab Technicians.

Required Skills:

• B.S. in life sciences highly desired

• 1+ years working with biospecimen in a laboratory setting

• Pipetting

• Specimen handling and processing

• Molecular biology
