Rubrik Director, Paid Media in Palo Alto, California

Job Overview:

As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Paid Digital Marketing to lead and execute our paid media strategy. What you’ll do:

  • Lead and execute paid digital marketing strategies across channels including LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, programmatic display, and paid social , ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

  • Develop and manage paid media campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline growth, with a strong focus on maximizing ROI.

  • Oversee Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies, optimizing paid search campaigns for performance on platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and YouTube .

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Campaign Architects, and Field Marketers to ensure paid media initiatives support overall marketing objectives.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and ad tech partners to execute campaigns efficiently and cost-effectively.

  • Continuously analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and various DSPs , and implement A/B testing to refine and optimize strategies.

  • Present campaign performance reports and insights to executive leadership, providing data-driven recommendations.

  • Stay current with industry trends, ensuring that paid digital strategies utilize the latest tools and platforms for optimal performance.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience: 8+ years in digital marketing, with at least 3-5 years focused on paid digital advertising in a B2B environment. Proven experience in managing large-scale paid media campaigns across platforms.

  • Skills: Expertise in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads Console, Google Analytics, Microsoft Ads, programmatic advertising platforms (DSPs), and social media advertising . Experience with YouTube advertising is a plus.

  • Mindset: Data-driven, analytical, and results-oriented. You are comfortable making decisions based on performance data.

  • Collaboration: A team player who can work cross-functionally and manage vendor relationships effectively.

  • Technical: Strong proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets for budget tracking, reporting, and campaign analysis. Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks for paid media optimization.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while staying focused on measurable results.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

$208,000—$312,000 USD
