Work Schedule:

  • Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the Palo Alto office, 2 days remote.

Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities, including processing invoices, handling month-end close procedures, and managing accruals. The ideal candidate will have experience with Coupa and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify invoices in Coupa, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment.

  • Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Handle accruals and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation for audits and reviews.

  • Assist with the preparation of reports and analyses related to accounts payable.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable process.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience, with a focus on month-end close and accruals.

  • Proficiency in Coupa is a must.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
