Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing a variety of electrical tasks in an industrial setting, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety protocols, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions:

• Perform general electrical work, including installation of new equipment and maintenance/repair tasks with minimal assistance.

• Execute routine tasks involving simple layouts for new installations and conduct routine analysis and repair work on existing equipment.

• Undertake complex assignments involving major equipment and installations with direction and minimal supervision.

• Work on primary and secondary lines, DC and AC circuits, single and multiple phase circuits.

• Install, maintain, and repair various electrical equipment such as lighting, motors, generators, hoists, circuit breakers, heating units, elevators, fork trucks, power tools, conduit systems, and other electrical transmission systems with minimal assistance.

• Interpret and work from wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.

• Utilize a wide variety of electricians' hand tools, as well as volt-meters, amp meters, watt meters, and other test instruments.

• Ensure all work complies with relevant code standards including building codes, NEC, and NFPA – 70E codes.

Job Qualifications:

• Formal electrical trade schooling or equivalent hands-on experience is required.

• Thorough knowledge of electrical shop practices and safety requirements, including lock out / tag out and arc flash protocols.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

• Proficiency in using a wide variety of measuring instruments.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to safety..
