The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Warehouse Technician Senior, you will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of material. You will be expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner and to work effectively and productively with others to achieve team goals, while demonstrating respect and appreciation for the diversity of others. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge or proficiency in all areas of responsibility within the warehouse (i.e., receiving, put away, picking, packing, staging, shipping, cycle counting)

  • Must complete material handling equipment certification (forklift and wave)

  • Respond to internal and external customer needs in a timely and efficient manner (i.e., material must be received in within 24 hours of arrival, material must be provided to production team within 24 hours of request, sales orders must be completed within 24 hours after allocation)

  • Ensure any task that cannot be completed in a timely manner is escalated to area supervisor

  • Accurately perform operational tasks as assigned (i.e., system transactions as well as physical transactions). All physical transactions will also require an associated system transaction to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained (i.e., material receipt, location to location move, sales order staging)

  • Maintain employee training as required and work within established SOP’s and company guidelines

  • Assist in identifying process improvements with warehouse processes and procedures in accordance with TQM principles

  • Assist in training of new employees

  • Work with a minimal degree of supervision

  • Comply with all applicable FDA and International regulatory laws and standards

  • Comply with the Vyaire Code of Conduct and Quality Standards

  • Comply with all CAL-OSHA rules and regulations

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vyaire is looking for candidates who have the following required qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Five (5) years’ experience in warehouse operations

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and both ERP systems

Additional benefits offered include, medical, dental, vision, paid leaves, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays and potential for tuition reimbursement.
