Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Generalist to manage key HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, payroll processing, and compliance training. This role also involves maintaining personnel files, handling legal and immigration compliance, and supporting internal investigations and special projects. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Proficient in HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems (Paycom experience preferred).

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Service or hospitality industry experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or club setting.

Desirable Skills:

  • Fluency in a second language.

  • Experience in training and employee development programs.

salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and job postings via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Conduct orientation, compliance training, and internal guest service programs.

  • Oversee payroll processing, garnishments, and discrepancies.

  • Maintain personnel files, I-9 documentation, and ensure EEO/OFCCP compliance.

  • Assist with internal investigations, exit interviews, and reporting on employee turnover.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues and support managers with coaching.

  • Maintain the HRIS and Employee Self-Service portal.

  • Coordinate and execute all pre-hire and onboarding activities.

  • Assist with Workers' Compensation claims and safety programs.
